Stansberry Research, just voted the No. 1 midsize Top Workplace in Baltimore for 2021, is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our rapidly growing internal marketing team.


As a brand-new position, the Marketing Manager will support the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns with a special focus on large-scale ($1M+) campaigns to our existing subscribers.



  • Collaborate on the planning, execution, and optimization of internal marketing campaigns
  • Work with different departments to ensure campaigns are on schedule
  • Work closely with assigned copywriters and provide proofing support on all marketing copy to ensure accuracy and compliance with our standards
  • Work closely with design, development, and editorial teams while assisting with digital asset quality assurance (landing pages, order forms, confirmation e-mails, etc.)
  • Execute e-mail campaigns and automated e-mail journeys
  • Participate in ad testing across Stansberry’s internal e-letter publications
  • Report on key marketing metrics daily, including e-mail engagement, in-funnel conversion, and segmentation analysis
  • Plan and execute A/B testing strategies and analysis
  • Collaborate on the development of new marketing plans to monetize existing subscribers


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3-5+ years experience in a digital marketing, account management, or publishing/editorial role
  • Superb attention to detail and critical thinking skills are a must
  • Can work with flexibility, creativity, and a sense of urgency
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple high revenue projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Highly collaborative across teams; strong communication skills and the ability to maintain/develop strong relationships across departments are vital in this role
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.

  • Ability to use the phone/computer/keyboard/mouse/general office equipment for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate with others in order to exchange information
  • Fluency in the English language

“Rock Star” qualifications:

  • Direct response marketing experience including the overseeing of major multi-channel campaigns ($10M+)
  • Strengths in proofing and/or copywriting are a plus
  • Comfortable working with WordPress, SalesForce, and/or Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget)
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • Experience with building marketing performance reports (e.g. Excel, Tableau, Looker)
  • Understanding of general investing principles and financial markets
