Right now, we have an opening for an ambitious, tireless, and fearless Managing Editor to help them meet all the daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines for their various publications.

You’ll receive top-notch training and the chance to act as champion for a suite of editorial products and advisories. This includes…

• Writing and editing content for daily, weekly, and monthly e-letters.
• Managing the production of all editorial content onto their websites.
• Helping to develop and launch new editorial products.
• Championing the quality control for everything published under your watch.
• Challenging writers and editors to overdeliver on their promises to promote loyalty among readers.
• Scheduling editorial projects to keep up with a fast-paced marketing schedule.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Strengthen arguments, streamline prose, proofread, fact check, and scrutinize every detail of everything they publish.
• Enforce deadlines, schedule meetings, arrange calls, and keep everybody on task.
• Update reports, repackage content, and make their biggest ideas shine for months or even years.
• Supervise editorial assistants.

• At least two years of experience in financial publication industry, journalism, website publishing, public relations, advertising, book publishing, etc.
• Proven ability to make big picture edits... and an incredible eye for detail.
• Can handle dozens of tasks at the same time without sacrificing quality.
• Can improvise, adapt, and overcome, all while maintaining a cool head.
• You don’t need prodding. You aggressively seek out opportunity and solutions.
• Degree in English, journalism, mass communications, public relations, or related field preferred, but not required.
• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
• Visual acuity for reading and using the computer
• Ability to freely move about the office
• Ability to hear
• Ability to use the phone/computer/keyboard/mouse/general office equipment for extended periods of time
• Ability to communicate with others in order to exchange information
• Fluency in the English language
• Not required: Knowledge of the financial markets.
