Legacy Research Group, one of the world’s largest financial publishing firms, is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in the planning, production, and execution of internal marketing tasks, contributing to the acquisition and monetization of our publisher's subscriber base. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, make data-driven decisions, grow your career, and learn from and collaborate with an exceptional and dedicated marketing team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule HTML emails, including tracking and facilitating email sends as necessary.
  • Utilize Salesforce and Exact Target to assist marketing team with daily tasks, including setup, production, and QA of emails.
  • Review test sends for accuracy, consistency, and style.
  • Analyze current lists we are sending to determine effectiveness of current campaigns.
  • Report on and analyze marketing campaigns to optimize and scale them appropriately.

Qualifications

  • 0-1 years of experience in marketing and/or within the financial publishing industry preferred
  • Basic knowledge of HTML
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce and Tableau is a plus
  • Curious mind and strong work ethic
  • Strong analytic skills and ability to relate results to business objectives
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail required
  • Ability to multitask and learn new things rapidly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
  • Visual acuity for reading and using the computer
  • Ability to perceive
  • Ability to freely move about the office
  • Ability to use the phone/computer/keyboard/mouse/general office equipment for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate with others in order to exchange information
  • Fluency in the English language
